If you shouldn’t (or aren’t able to) get up from and down to the floor unassisted, chair yoga provides the benefits of moving your joints and stretching your muscles without the stress of supporting your body weight. This provides relief for stiff muscles and makes it easier to move and mobilize your joints during everyday life.

Hi! I’m Frannie.
I completed my 200-hr Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) to share the benefits of accessible slow mindful yoga with others. I believe yoga is for every BODY – you need not be “flexible enough” or “strong enough” or “meditative enough” – every BODY is ENOUGH!
Chair yoga is for anyone with mobility issues, whatever the reason. The majority of my clients are 65+, but chair yoga is suitable for anyone not able to get up from (or down to) the floor – maybe due to an injury, illness, or the natural aging process. It is also a great complement to more active forms of movement (like walking), allowing a person to engage in movement daily!
My classes are beneficial, engaging, fun, calming, AND energizing. For each class, I create a series of movements that are accessible and that help people keep their joints lubricated and active. I look forward to helping you (or your loved one) to move more and feel better in mind and body.

I love teaching chair yoga because it creates access for people who aren’t able to get up from or down to the floor for traditional yoga poses, allowing them to gently exercise their bodies from the safety of a chair.

With this financially accessible channel, you can practice anytime from wherever you are. It includes 10, 20, 45, and 60-minute practices, making it easy to practice multiple times a week.
IN-HOME PRIVATE CHAIR YOGA
Private yoga classes personalized for your needs and skills in the privacy of your home. We will build a joint movement series with some breath and stillness exercises that you can begin to do parts of daily, focusing on what YOU want to focus on. Additionally, guidance is provided on incorporating practices into your daily life to build more ease.
SMALL GROUP CHAIR

Gather a friend (or two or three) to share the experience (and cost) of a private yoga class in the privacy of your home or personal community space. Private classes allow me to cater to the needs and skills of those present. Our focus will be a relaxing yet energizing joint movement series with breath and stillness exercises.

I am available to come to your facility to conduct chair yoga classes. This includes senior centers, nursing homes, assisted & independent living facilities, gyms, workplaces, etc. I provide an accessible joint movement series with breath and stillness exercises that can be tailored to the participants and can be built upon over time with a series of classes.
